WiN Ukraine joined the NetZeroNeedsNuclear campaign

WiN Ukraine joined the NetZeroNeedsNuclear campaign to prove the importance of nuclear energy in combating climate change.

WiN Ukraine supports the Women in Nuclear Global initiative to join the NetZeroNeedsNuclear campaign, which aims to accelerate the global community’s ability to minimize CO2 emissions by 2050, as well as to convey messages that nuclear power supports clean environment.

Representatives of WiN Global, as well as branches of this world network, including WiN Ukraine, shot a thematic video on the role of nuclear energy in the challenges of climate change.

Launched by the Nuclear Institute Young Generation Network, NetZeroNeedsNuclear has brought together young professionals in the field of nuclear energy. The campaign also launched a petition to draw attention to the fact that nuclear energy is a key element in combating climate change.

To join NetZeroNeedsNuclear, you need to take a photo or video explaining why you believe that nuclear energy plays an important role in combating climate change and minimizing CO2 emissions, sign a petition (https://www.change.org /…/ save-our-climate-we-need-your…) and share it on social media with the hashtag #NetZeroNeedsNuclear.

According to SE “Energoatom”, in March of this year the specialists of the EU Science Hub provided a detailed report on the results of their annual work and, thanks to the processing of hundreds of scientific studies, reports and publications in industry journals, came to the conclusion that nuclear energy plays an important role in combating climate change.
