The request for assistance to Ukraine has been sent to the IAEA

The urgent request has been sent to the IAEA for the emergency assistance to Ukraine due to Russian military aggression, capture and bombardment of the radiation-hazardous objects, as well as escalation around Nuclear Power Plants, located at the territory of Ukraine.

Understanding the specifics of the IAEA’s activities, we ask you to promptly assist in resolving the issue of nuclear and radiation safety, prevention of nuclear terrorism by Russian Federation, as well as resolving the situation in accordance with previous commitments through diplomacy. That means the return of Ukraine territory to its control, withdrawal from the Nuclear Power Plant and Exclusion Zone of Russian troops, and the cessation of hostilities throughout the country.
