Presence of Rosatom’s employees at Zaporizhzhia NPP

Since the beginning of the ZNPP occupation, about 15 Rosatom employees are present at the plant (all “specialists” have been identified by our resource). According to the “experts”, they were delegated to assess nuclear and radiation safety after the shelling and seizure of the plant by the occupiers, as well as to provide assistance with repairs. Certain “specialists” do not even understand why they have arrived. However, the real reason for the visit is the refusal of Ukrainian ZNPP personnel to cooperate with the occupiers.

Domestic experts are convinced that as a result of continuous implementation of projects to improve the safety of Ukrainian NPPs and upgrading of the main control unit, it is simply impossible to take over the ZNPP units control by Rosatom’s representatives, even under the condition of similar design of power units.

In our opinion, the Rosatom “specialists” have arrived for looting, but it turned out that here the necessary deep knowledge, high qualifications and responsibility are required.

Since 21 March 2022, the ZNPP employees are actively offered to sign a contract 📄 with “Rosatom” (Rosenergoatom JSC is the NPP operator in Russia) and obtain russian citizenship. However, our compatriot nuclear engineers took a categorical pro-Ukrainian position.

For several days, the russian military detonated unexploded ordnance in the area of the ZNPP industrial site (there is nothing to comment at all after their entrenchment in the Chornobyl Red Forest). Before the detonations, the loudspeaker warning was announced.

Security personnel from the Balakovo NPP (russia) arrived at the ZNPP to perform security functions. Security personnel was also placed on duty inside the main buildings of power units to control the personnel movement.

We would like to wish our compatriots at the Zaporizhzhya NPP patience and safety.

Everything will be Ukraine! 🇺🇦

The russian atom shall follow the russian warship!
