26 years ago, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a new Constitution of Ukraine – the first Constitution of an independent Ukrainian state. Its adoption consolidated the legal foundations of independent Ukraine, its sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and was an important step in establishing the international authority of our country on the world stage.
Unfortunately, today we again have to fight for our independence, which was brazenly encroached upon by the enemy. But we continue to fight and defend our rights and freedoms, arguing that Ukraine is an integral and sovereign state.
