December 10 – International Human Rights Day.
“All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights,” proclaims Art. 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted on that day in 1948 by the UN General Assembly.
Human life, its rights and freedoms are the highest value of every state and the world as a whole. Absolutely everyone has the right to study, get a job, feel safe, and be equal before the law, regardless of social status, political or
religious beliefs, race or gender.
“We oppose violations of all human rights, including gender discrimination. This also applies to difficulties in the employment and career growth of women in areas that are stereotypically considered “non-female”. Therefore, it is
important not only to remember our rights, but also to speak boldly about the cases when they are violated, because freedom of thought and speech is also our right, “said WiN Ukraine President Margaryta Rayets.
WiN Ukraine calls for respect for one’s rights and the rights of everyone, as this is a guarantee of peace and harmony in society.
