II International Conference “The Role of Women Scientists in the Development of Science, Innovation and Technology”

From August 17 to 20, Gulistan (Republic of Tajikistan) hosts the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Role of Women Scientists in the Development of Science, Innovation and Technology”, organized by the Agency for Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan ( regulator) and the national representation of Women in Nuclear.

The event is also attended by international experts in the field of countering nuclear terrorism and non-proliferation, representatives of the IAEA, the US Department of Energy, the James Martin Center for Non-Proliferation in Monterey and others.

The President of the organization Margaryta Rayets made an introductory speech on the activities of the Ukrainian representation of Women in Nuclear.

“I am very grateful to the organizers for inviting me to speak on behalf of WiN Ukraine, and I would like to emphasize that, of course, the role of women in science, innovation and technology is really huge, but the fact is that we women need more support. : not only from governments, colleagues and international partners, but more importantly, we women must support each other. Always, ”she said, wishing all participants further fruitful discussions throughout the conference.
