The night of April 26, 1986 divided the lives of many people and the world into “before” and “after”. After all, that day, at 01:25, not only the 4th power unit was destroyed: hearts, destinies, life stopped.
The accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant became the largest man-made catastrophe in the history of mankind, the consequences of which will be eliminated by more than one future generation.
We pay tribute to the memory of those who gave their lives to protect people and the world from the deadly effects of the destroyed reactor. Those who, without hesitation, laid their health on the altar of safety, which was mercilessly struck by radiation. Those who are still courageously, selflessly and diligently doing responsible and important work to minimize the consequences of the catastrophe of April 26, 1986 and to do everything to ensure that the events of that day never happen again.
